Standards: Distinguish long from short vowel sounds in spoken single-syllable words. (CC.1.1.1.C.1.)

Student Instructions

1. Tap add to begin. 2. On page 1, click and listen to the short a videos. 3. On page 2, Use the mic and move the circle around to find the short a words and record yourself reading the short a words. 4. Listen and choose the correct answer on pages 3 and 4. 5. On page 5, Drag and drop all of the short a words in the box and then press recordvoice and read the short a words. 6. On page 6, Tap the recordvoice then read the passage aloud. 7. Use the highlighter to highlight all the short a words in the passage. 8. Use the drawing to draw a picture of the story or passage you just read. 9. When you're done, tap the check to save.
