Christmas Sweater - Design and Describe (Blended)

Grades: 1st Grade, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade
Subjects: English Language Arts
Standards: Students will use periods with declarative and imperative sentences, question marks with interrogative sentences, and exclamation points with exclamatory sentences. (3.5.W.4.), Students will capitalize and punctuate titles of respect, words in titles, and geographical names. (3.5.W.3.), Students will compose simple and compound declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory sentences, avoiding and correcting fragments. (3.5.W.1.), Students will use nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, and adverbs to add clarity and variety to their writing. (3.5.W.2.)

Student Instructions

Using the paper provided create the fabric design for your Christmas sweater. (Fill the paper with color and design.) Type a sentence describing you sweater Check your sentence for correct structure, spelling, and punctuation. Click the check to submit your work. (The Christmas objects in the activity are not locked so that the size can be changed. This also means that they can be accidentally deleted. If deleted they can be copied and pasted from the final page of this activity.)

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)

Provide students with paper and ask them to fill the paper with a Christmas design.
